Republicans tell media the public is starting to notice Democrats’ refusal to grant tax relief

Meeting with media before the House and Senate each plan to vote on the other chamber's bills this week, House Minority Leader J.T. Wilcox said the public is starting to take note of the majority party's refusal to provide meaningful tax relief and instead hike spending nearly 10 times more than any previous supplemental operating budget spending increase. Republican lawmakers answered questions on the operating budgets that recently passed House and Senate, COVID-19 restrictions, gun control, and bills of interest coming up for a vote. Joining the media were Wilcox, Rep. Chris Corry, R-Yakima, Senate Minority Leader John Braun, R-Centralia, and Sen. Judy Warnick, R-Moses Lake.
