Legislative Republican leaders, transportation ranking members ask Gov. Jay Inslee, Democrats to reevaluate their transportation plan, work with Republicans
House Republican Leader J.T. Wilcox, Senate Republican Leader John Braun, Rep. Andrew Barkis, and Sen. Curtis King sent the following letter to Gov. Jay Inslee, Speaker of the House Laurie Jinkins, Senate Majority Leader Andy Billig, Rep. Jake Fey, and Sen. Marko Liias asking them to reevaluate their transportation plan, drop the export fuel tax, shift sales tax on motor vehicles from the general fund to the transportation budget, and work in a bipartisan manner on transportation infrastructure.
