SATTGAST: (:67) Here's a theme you'll be hearing during the 60-day legislative session . . .

WILCOX: “It's Your Home. Expect More.”

SATTGAST: House Republican Leader Representative J.T. Wilcox says Legislative Republicans plan to deliver on those expectations with a strong policy agenda that addresses Washington's top issues.

WILCOX: “We have three points we think are the most critical to the people that live in Washington. You have a right to be safe. You have a right to have a lifestyle that is affordable – not a lifestyle that becomes almost impossible to deliver because the government has gotten in the way at every step. And you have a right to expect a government that is accountable.”

SATTGAST: Wilcox says to expect legislation that supports law enforcement and keeps neighborhoods and residents safe. There will be bills for housing affordability and lowering car tabs to 30 dollars. And you can expect Republican-sponsored legislation to hold government accountable by eliminating title-only bills, closed-door budget negotiations and last-minute tax hikes.

WILCOX: “All of us should expect more.”

Details of the new plan can be found on the “Our Priorities” page of the House Republican website at: HouseRepublicans (DOT) W-A (DOT) G-O-V.
