Dear Friends and Neighbors,
As House Republican Leader, I had an opportunity to sit down with Austin Jenkins of TVW’s Inside Olympia last week for a long-form interview. Austin is always a pro — tough, but fair. We discussed a wide range of issues, including being back in person again, opening-day ceremonies, housing, broad-based tax relief, gun rights, abortion, drug possession laws, the workforce, my relationship with Democratic leadership, and House Republican priorities.
I again voiced my opposition to a new major airport being located in rural Pierce or Thurston counties. The opposition to this new major airport is strong, coordinated and effective. I can tell you that these efforts are making a difference in the Legislature.
